Skywood’s outpatient rehab treatment program is a great option for both individuals who may not need the structure of residential treatment or as a step-down for those who have recently completed an inpatient program. At Skywood Grand Rapids, we specialize in treating the unique needs of adults struggling with co-occurring addiction and mental health disorders both in-person and virtually.

Skywood Outpatient Rehab Treatment at Grand Rapids
Our service model includes integrated treatment and recovery support services working with patients from an individualized treatment approach.
From confidential assessments and physician-directed medication management to integrated educational sessions and holistic options, everything we do in our intensive outpatient program (IOP) is based on our evidence-based continuum of care model.
In-Person and Virtual Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Through dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and proven methods, Skywood Outpatient guides you in your path to recovery using a stage-matched approach. Available services include supportive and effective therapy for trauma, grief, anger management, and co-occurring mood disorders. We also believe it is important to include family members to educate them about co-occurring disorders and relapse prevention through family therapy. We truly work on customizing care to address your unique needs on the road to long-term recovery.
The caring staff members at Skywood Outpatient foster a compassionate and restorative environment. As you gain knowledge about yourself and the addiction process, you’ll be empowered to live a recovery-based lifestyle free from substances.
Our virtual intensive outpatient program gives patients anywhere in Michigan access to industry-leading care from the comfort of home. Our virtual IOP is led by masters-level clinicians who work with patients to address their specific needs and reach the long-term sobriety they desire.
In-Person Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
The Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) typically involves daily sessions that last several hours most days throughout the week. The length of the program can vary, but it typically lasts around four to six weeks, based on need. During the program, you may participate in a variety of therapeutic activities, such as:
- Group therapy
- Individual counseling sessions
- Educational workshops
- And more
You may also receive medication management for any co-occurring mental health conditions, participate in family therapy and get help and resources to transition back into daily life.
